Transmission software update

How much do dealers normally charge for a transmission software update?
My 04 4.8 stutters around 1100-1500 RPMs when coasting and when shifting from 3 to 4 gear. From what I've read, a software update usually fixes this issue.

I believe you are referring to a recall.... this shouldn't cost you anything b/c I got mine done not too long ago.

If its not the recall, It should just be what ever they charge for diagnostics...

Are you sure it's not a torque converter?
