Looks like someone rigged up an aux cord with power for an MP3 player, GPS, or even a radar detector. Plug a source into the aux input and switch your radio to "aux", it should play over your sound system.

Don't think so- looks like a plastic piston of some kind, think it might be the connector for the glove box? You can see the flashlight in the background in the third picture…

can you take a better picture of your last pic? from this angle it look like a bomb...lol

it is shock absorber/piston/shock/lifter for the glove lid... looks like it is broken,, there should be another one on the opposite side of the lid...
