20x11 wheels

I am buying a pair of 20x11 wheels and i need to get another pair for the the front. My questions is should i buy a 20x10 or 20x9.5
Is there a difference either way?

thanks in advance

I think I saw a post with someone using 20x11 on the front. However, not sure if he/she had rubbing issues. To play it safe I would just get 20x10 for the fronts. Unless, of course, you're wanting to rotate your tires.

I run X6M REPLICAS which are 20x11(35mm ET rear) and 20x10(40mm ETfront).

Important thing is to make sure you get wheels with the proper backspacing or ET. Something with stock ET would be good.

I think most reps nowadays (off the newer wheel styles) are 20x10F & 20x11R anyway. The oem sizes for the e53 were 9.5" upfront, 10.5 rear. A 9.5" vs. 10" wide wheel wont have much effect other than looks as I assume youre going to be running the standard 275/40/20 315/35/20 tire combo. The wider wheels will give a slightly more aggressive stance......definitely can't complain about that!

Which wheels did you get?

Any difference in ride quality with 9.5 or 10s up front and 11s in the rear

Ride quality I don't think will be affected too much by that 1/2 inch.

Its more about your tires and what kind of aspect ratio you're running.

The lower your aspect ration the firmer the ride. For example, running 40 will be "better" ride quality than running a 25 series.

Steering might feel a tad heavier with 10" upfronts but will also depend upon tire sizes.

Hey TwinsPoppa, what tire sizes are you running?

I'm running the stock staggered sizes of 275 & 315. However, because I have the vreds they don't look as wide as other tires of the same size.
