My Vaca in Philippines and SPOTTED A FEw E53s

5 Attachment(s)
So i was on Vaca and Spotted a few X5's in town...heres some shots ....

BOTH X5 were 3.0D i think..as i saw D-diesel

1st 3 pictures..I like the Wheels its a different look...exhaust holes were covered and exhaust vented underneath ....and had some LED tailights....

2nd 2pictures...saw it at the dealer....believe it ...they had a 528i Msport package that Cost P5.5million pesos (137k usd) ...and additional P1.5million pesos (37k usd) for the Msport package........its ridiculously expensive for a 528i!....hahahaha.. laugh when he told me that..........I was looking at a E53 in town Manila for a potential Vacation Car here to fiddle around with when im in town...found one 4.4i 2002 for P1.4 million pesos (35k usd) with 87's on......

....so the next thing would be ....if i keep my E53 ..or part it out.....and bring it there as E53's there with 4.8is kit are RARE.....but i do love my car so much....so what is it....going to be.........

covered exhaust = diesel in E53... I have noticed in my travels, that the diesel E53s look rather nice, they have some body kits or whatever, that sets them apart...

yeah, bimmers can be very pricey overseas - no wonder, everytime I pulled in in the 4.6iS, I was treated differently... besides, the status (and the taxes) depend on the size of the engine = my engine screamed MACHO!!! hahaha

nice! where do the exhaust tips go though?

Vacations are never long enough right, Mike? Cars in general are very expensive in SE Asia countries.
Part your E53 out and ship over there as parts to cut down some import taxes. Then you have it whenever you're going there.

Hopefully, when it arrives the parts don't magically disappear. That's been known to happen from time to time. Hell, ship a vehicle there and it may even arrive missing some parts. Don't make it any easier for them. :D

Aren't you glad to be back?! :p. The weather there sure looks a hell of a lot more enjoyable, that's for sure!!

Maybe it's just the pics, but those X's really sparkle.

Term- Exactly..bringing a 4.8is in the Philippines will be BOSS status...hahahah
Simply X-Those Exhaust tips Vent underneath the car....i look under and saw the tips in there.....

TMV- yup thats the only problem...bringing the X clean in philippines may cost you ALOt $$$ and may arrive in missing parts.....best is part it out Exterior wise and ship it there like that.....

Ricky-...yeah man...gotta make that $$$ lol
Twins..you are definitely right...lol
X5Snd-....can wait ogot one more day here and off the my X.....2 weeks is too long not to drive the X.......and those were taken from Iphone ......and i think the wheels were customized or grinded out in the middle spoke...they look exactly like my old ones...

....the saying goes....." you know you love your X when youre still on vaca and want to come home and drive her around just for the hell of it"

Ahem, 4.8is owner here in Manila! I've seen a couple of 4.6is' here but so far, my 4.8is seems to be unique. Not sure about Cebu though. Lots of importers there bringing in all sorts of cars.
