BMW style 95 rims on the X5
 

I've found a set of 19" 95 style rims for sale. Seller said that they fit an X5. I have had a look online and I cannot find a picture of them on an E53.

Will these actually fit? The ad description isnt very detailed so I am a bit sceptical.

Off a 7 series...dunno if they will fit, as I don't know the wheel bore/lug bolt size.
Another poster may know.

Fwiw, the offset is 24 front & rear, vs the usual/most severe 45 front/30 rear on oe wheels for the E53.

Also tire rec'd is, 245/45R-19 f and 275/40R-19 r.

Hub-bored should be the same. Offset is aggressive for X5, but they might work. They are off E65 7-series. Those have ET24.
Take style 132 for example. They are the same size, but the offset are 48mm F, 45mm R. You should have no problem in the rears. IDK about the fronts though. They might stick out too much.

For the most part the original BMW 5/6/7/8/Z8 model's wheels have a medium wheel offset range that is between 11mm-28mm. The wheel bolt pattern is 5x120mm and the hub/bore size is 72.56mm. The exception is the e39 5 series which has a larger hub/bore size of 74.1mm. And now that BMW is using x-Drive on many of the sedans...the wheels used on the sedans with AWD have a high wheel offset like on the vehicles listed below. So checking the 11 digit BMW part nbr or the specs on molded into the wheel may be necessary to determine wheel offset (ET_ _ or IS_ _)

The original BMW wheels for the 1/3/X3/X5/Z3/Z4 have a high wheel offset range that is between 35mm-50mm+. The wheel bolt pattern is also 5x120mm (exception for the old e21 & early e30 3 series) and the hub/bore size is 72.56mm. The exception here is the e70 X5 which has the larger 74.1mm hub/bore (front & rear), and the X6 which has a split axle set up of 74.1mm (front)/72.56mm (rear) (hope I didn't reverse these numbers...correct me if I'm wrong).

The above is in regards to the ability to mount the wheels without the use of any other component like wheel spacers. Also, pay attention to the original tire size...models may use the same wheel style (or wheel) but may require a different size tire. For instance, the 7 series uses a 235/50/18 tire on the front style 37 MPar...but the e39 uses a 235/40/18 tire on it's 18" MPar.

The bolt pattern is likely the same, but offset may be different & might keep them from working on an X5: You can check to see what that is at Felgen-Katalog - BMW-Treff - der Treffpunkt fr alle BMW-Fans und -Fahrer Scroll through the wheels to find the style you're looking for then check the specs & see if the original fitment was for an X5 or if it matches a wheel that was original to an X5.

IMHO it looks ok but not great. Reminds me of the wheels on a Chrysler suv.

Those wheels will fit just fine . I Had test fitted all my wheels from the E53 to the E66

Did you try the opposite way, Tom? That's what the OP want to do.
I can come borrow my E53 for the test fit :nanana: :D

Yes i did ,back in the summer before i sold my X5,I had the 7's wheels (the offset is 24 front & rear) on my X5 and their just fine.
