Alright, before anyone writes anything... I dont want any stupid answers like "turn the bass down" or "theres too much bass". If you have any negative comments, keep them to yourself.

I installed 2 15' Kicker L7 subs and the gas door rattles like crazy.

Any solutions?

Install dynamat on the inside edge of the gas lid

There's too much bass. You should turn your bass down. Just kidding. Check to verify all the rubber grommets are in place. The gas door contact areas should all be rubber. Other than that, the above recommendation of sound deadener might work.

....and I thought I had cargo space issues....:bustingup

The lock should hold it from vibrating....if you need a bit more though, consider finding a small rubber bump-stop.

I wonder if you could use some flexible magnet to help "stick" the door shut, but not impede opening it.

It does have all the rubber on the contact areas but its just so much that the door goes crazy lol

Thats crazy....the single 10 in my truck is enough to shake it pretty good, 2 15's gotta make your teeth rattle! If i remember correctly the gas door only locks/unlocks with the drivers door.
