OEM alloys parts number

Hi, Just joined the forum. A while back I bought some 17" style 57 alloys in the used market for my E53 3.0d Spt intended for winter use. They were a bargain at £150 for the set but I wanted to check that they were OEM. There's a 7 digit parts number stamped on the back 6762330-14. There is also a 'BMW' stamp and a 'United States' stamp. Seems a bit odd because the parts number doesn't seem to match the BMW catalogue. However the number does show up here and there on-line. Is this a US parts number or is it otherwise possible that 2 part numbers exist for the same OEM wheel? or are they replicas? thanks for your help!!

BMW part nbrs are 11 digits long (xx xx x xxx xxx)...and sometimes (due to space) they will only use the last 7 digits (x xxx xxx) of the part nbr.

In this case...the wheel's part nbr is 36 11 6 762 330 ( Light alloy rim, 36*11*6*762*330 ). Disregard any alpha characters or anything after a dash (in this case the "-14"). The other problem here is that this part nbr is discontinued...which makes it a bit more difficult to look up using the new part databases...some do not reference back to old NLA (no longer available) part numbers. :(

I believe this is the latest 11 digit BMW part nbr for the wheel you inquired about:BMW light alloy wheel, star spoke 57 BMW X5 E53, X5 3.0d (M57N)
