Sorry to hijack the thread..just a quick question.

I have been looking at mine and always thought the front was a bit too high and the rear could be lifted up a bit. If I played with these sensors I could tweak the suspension to get what I want, correct?

rf dude, with the leveling sensors you would not be able to correctly adjust the height, if you have the air suspension, you need to calibrate the car on a flat surface using the INPA or GT1. there are threads around, talking about it, i have posted the factory prescribed heights for different wheels sizes and the sport/non-sport versions.

I do have the air suspension. I assume the INPA or GT1 is a OBDI tool correct? I do have one but obviously not what I need (BMW Scanner 1.40).

check the ebay for those pieces of software, some dude in romania was selling an OBD cable and was throwing the software into the package as a fringe benefit. you have 4.6iS, so it is the the rear only air suspension, right?

I do have the 4.6IS TerminatorX5 so I guess (not sure exactly what the config was for this model) rear only. On this note I guess it probably doesn't make sense to purchase it.

you can always use INPA or NSCExpert for other things, if you want to... there are threads about car programming... they also read the bmw codes, if something is wrong... the package runs $40-50

true. Like I mentioned, already have a similar one but obviously doesnt do the auto levelling option. For $40 may not be a bad toy to play with:)!
