Looking for "budget" 20's

That's about it. Looking for some "budget" 20" black staggered rims for my '01.

Looked on eBay for a while, anything decent puts me in the $2500-3500 range with a good set of tires.

Any ideas?

I was debating these. They do sales every so often.

20 - Esm-004 - Esm Wheels - Esm-004 Sl 20 - Esm-004 Gm 20 - Esm-004 Gl 20 - Thank You for Visiting

Otherwise try Craigslist and eBay for used wheels. Even new replica wheels can be had cheap.

I find mine for $700 on local BMW Auto Recycling. It cost over $2000 on ebay + i have brand new rear CONTINENTAL ExtremeContact DWS 315/35ZR20 tires and almost new front tires. Rims in great condition couple scuffs on it. So try bmw recycling.
P.S. I sold my old 18 for $500:D

Theres plenty of black 20" reps w/ tires for the 15-1800ish range.

Even at that new reps can be had for 800ish and a brand new set of dws's will run you about $1100.....still coming in well below $2500.

Selling your factory wheels would offset that even more.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I've been checking CL for a bit. I am looking for something aftermarket, to make my X stand out from the few running around here.

There's a few sets "locally", meaning Seattle, which is a 4 hour drive. Might have to make a long weekend of it! :)

I bought my 168 reps with Toyo Proxes 2 tires off ebay shipped mounted and balanced for 1850, sold my 18" stock wheels for 400 bucks.

You can get black 168s, black 214s, and one or two other wheels the seller i bought mine from (Wheel-Tech-Tuning)

Plenty of 20" staggered that would be under $2K with tires.

I felt the same way and went to tirerack for OZ's (I wanted 17's though). They are definitely different than standard X5 fare and 'de-chromed' quite a bit without going blackout (which, personally, just looks like dirty wheels from any distance at all).

also -my opinion- it kept me outa' the 'we can make 'em cheeep' rep market. There are probably good reps out there, but damned hard to know until you mount, balance and drive 'em a bit, let alone get them mail-order.

good luck

I can also recommend Wheel Tech Tuning. I picked up a set of 20" 214 replicas in black and they've held up great for almost three years now.
