OEM angel eye bulb replacement
2 Attachment(s)
Hey all,
Need one of these Attachment 57894 Is it OEM or after-market?? Absolutely nothing writen on it so can't tell. Will ring the dealer tomorrow when they open to see if they have any, but any other options in AUSTRALIA, as I'm sure the dealer ain't the cheapest... Need it sooner rather than later so rules out overseas purchases... Did a google search and couldn't really come up with anything. Also, maybe I am going blind, but can anyone find a part number for me? Looked on realoem but can't see the bulb in this pic (or any of the pics of headlights for my model). Last 6 digits of vin are LE56429. Perhaps this ties in with it not being an OEM bulb? Attachment 57893 |

you can try ebay, search e53 angel eye. Lots of HK sellers, so may get pretty quick. |
Now why didnt i think of that...
Thanks mate. Looked on eBay and there are actually a couple in Melbourne so is an overnight delivery normally. |
If your angel eyes are a "warm" yellowish color that doesn't have a very bright harsh look...then they are the original AEs. If they are whitish/bluish and have a very bright & cooler look...then they are aftermarket LEDs.
Also, if you go back to realoem.com ...look to see if there is an little image icon at the far right of #14...if it is, click on it and a small image will appear...and if you click on the small image...you can enlarge it to where it should fill your screen...which will also help to verify that you're looking at the correct part. :) The bulb for the AEs is #14 in the diagram you posted: BMW part # |
Yeah def aftermarket LEDs - nice white light. Have seen some exactly the same on eBay so will see how we go.
