Seller above was cheapest i found, and free shipping! cant beat that!

Switching out my Toyo Proxes ST IIs, I hope I dont regret getting these tires, i've heard great reviews, except for tread wear...

Had these on my 1995 E34 M5 Touring and loved them! May put them on my 996.

they are def good especially for you since you have dedicated winters. i would have run them if i had dedicated winters since they are a summer tread, you'll enjoy them i'm sure and yes treadwear rating is less than the toyo's but i'm sure you will enjoy them! let us know your impressions when they are mounted

Great tires and great seller. I bought from him for my brother's E55 and my M5. Tires are hard to beat for their value, I really like the grip on them.

Since he already purchased the tires, this isn't exactly the most helpful post of the day. :dunno:

Long story short, my mom popped a tire in Boston, and couldn't drive home on the donut. So the tire shop only had the vred. Hence, I already had 1 basically new vredestein, so I just completed the set.

I'm very excited to put these on. It's still snowing up here in central NY, so I think I'll take a few weeks

I have that brand on my 2001 4.4 20's. they didnt hold up very long. alingments were done every 15k truck was used only in summers, they just wore out. but we did drive it hard.

i think we got 30k out of them.

30k is fine with me--I'll be happy if i get 30k out of them.. I got about 28k out of the Toyos Proxes ST IIs..

Thats a badass looking tire! Anyone have any input as to noise levels compared to some of the other tires commonly used on our E53's?

Here are 11+ pages of threads on Vredestein tires:

And, pages of threads from general "Vredestein tires" Search:

I like the 'look' alot, and wish they came in my VetteVert size, to replace my fading F1 GY tires, that have the original v/arrow shaped tread...

hey guys,

it's been long!
speaking of vreds, do they still make the 255/55/R18 for the 01 3.0 SP?

Cheers

My point exactly... He already purchased the tires, so why would someone chime in and tell him he should have bought a different brand? Doesn't make any sense as the ship has already sailed! ;)

I bought the exact setup from afswheels.com in July 2011 for 975.00 shipped. I suspect given the extra year and a half the pricing would be real good.
