I wondering if i got ripped off or is it like this for shipping.
Should the door carrier assembly have a tie wrap on it.

Not sure. Mine did not. Post a pic if possible. I'm not sure why a tie wraps presence would lead you to believe you were ripped off. Maybe you can elaborate.

does it hold together without the tie wrap? should it hold together? i did mine too long ago, so i don't remember but, i did not have any tie wraps that i had to cut, and chances are, there were not any to keep them tied up either...

terminatorx. I took another pic. if you look at it you will see if i cut the tie wrap. the white assembly part wll come all the way off the metal. Thats why i m thinking i got ripped off. It will slide right out

your wire is working when you use the handle? mine did not come with the strips. I think it just for the shipping they did so. cut it off!

X5SND 02-26-2013 07:38 PM

Yeahhhhhh....that nylon tie ain't suppose to be there! Lol

Where did you buy it from?

TerminatorX5 02-26-2013 08:14 PM

tie wrap is really not supposed to be there... on the other hand, when you cut it off, and the white thingie falls off, is designed to go elsewhere? In other words, is it supposed to be held together, or it is just tied together to avoid rattling during shipping?

i would google the part and look up images of this part number, to see how other ones look like...

Cut it off and see if it comes apart. If it does, return it. If you can't, you learned an important lesson.
