IMO stick with the hyper silver.
FWIW - I was driving in Rockville, MD on Monday 4/1/13 and I was at a light at an intersection. It was either a 4.6 or 4.8 blue X5 made a right turn in front of me to travel in my same direction. It might have been Twins but the wheels were 87s. In any event, when this X5 made the turn the wheels and back end looked AWESOME! The wheels were spinning slowly as they made the turn and looked big and beefy. There was also a cool optical effect from the slow spinning rims. The hyper silver color slowly rolling really caught my eye. Then from the back the X looked so wide and planted on the pavement.
I think I liked how it looked more than any other X i've seen on the road including X5ms.
I know I am biased but the lines of this ride looked so good. I thought to myself - if my 4.8 looks half as good I've got a nice ride.
Long story but those 87's in Hyper Silver really work well with a blue X5. The 20 inch silver wheels pop:thumbup::thumbup:
