Will be doing a coolant fill and flush with dishwasher soap to flush out the last of oil in coolant, top up with Dexron VI, and hopefully that's that.

Update:

Truck has run about a hundred miles of city and highway driving with no problems at all. Hose in steady in place and no leaking. Looks like connections are fine.
