We are 3 members away from hitting 3000!

Unbelieveable growth in such a short 10 months or so.

breytonX5 01-09-2006 09:01 AM

Absolutely amazing!!!

statdoc 01-09-2006 09:03 AM

When I joined this board, I couldn't believe that it had only been up for a couple of months. The level of professionalism is awesome, and the participation is more than any other board I frequent.

Good job, people!!

bozo 01-09-2006 09:19 AM

Sh*#...At the current rate, we should have those 3 by the end of the day! "What do they get, Vanna?"

john348 01-09-2006 10:11 AM

Hi

Should only be 2 now as I have just joined not sorted out pics etc yet. I will be picking up my X5 on Wednesday this week.

Looks like lots of things to play with? Should keep me busy for a few weeks.

Good site by the way.

John (from the UK)

:welcome: to best site ever! Where abouts in the UK are you located? A lot of cool information and great people here... Post pics when you get your X!

john348 01-09-2006 10:30 AM

HI thanks for the welcome.

I live near Silverstone (grand prix fans will know). The car is second hand, just,4 months old with 4000 miles on the clock, It was a salesman's car at the dealership (North Oxford). They can only keep the cars for 3 to 4 months and so provide nearly new cars to the market? (well that is what the salesman says anyway and we all believe them?)

X5 3.0d must remember to put diesel in it rather than petrol (Gas)
Silver
Quite a few extras.

John

It would be awesome to have the history of this board documented (including the migration from RF to Bimmerfest and finally here) and made a sticky.

SuperGreg, are you done with the documentary?

Yes, there was another one too from Texas, I think her handle was Debbie, who claimed that she was a rich bitch. Just too funny.

Just goes to show what a great web site this is. Thank you mods for all your hard work, and everyone who participates in this forum.

When I did a Google search for BMW forums, I found Roadfly. After looking it over, including some of the Debbie posts, I decided there had to be something better. That's when I found X5World!!

I can't imagine Debbie was really a she... I actually thought those posts were rather entertaining, but it got old pretty quick. Some folks' feathers are ruffled pretty easily! I suspect it was just some dork who didn't even own an X5 trying his darndest to get our collective panties in a bunch and getting off on it...
:loser:

There isn't a site on the internet that I frequent more than this one, and I frequent this one much, much more than I should! (i.e. I'm here now and I'm getting paid to work)....

Hellsbells, every time I did a little roadtrip and was off the 'puter for a dayish, You guys, (& me, for tossing grenades onto the campfire, lol!) were getting timed out, or kicked off, or relegated to the detention ward on the previous freaking boards! :bustingup

Course the eye poking was a bit more severe back in those days.

And, it was Not about porn or skin pics, imo. :p

Ol'[email protected]

Nonetheless, amazing membership and interest in this Board! Congrats to J&D and the mods!
