New to the X5 community
 

Hey thought I'd finally introduce myself (though i see a few familiar faces from E46fanatics!). Ive been browsing these forums while in search for an X5 and have finally put a deposite (and picking up this coming friday) a 2005 X5:) I needed something I could daily drive and would be able to tow my drift e46 around as well. So here she is:)

Shes got about 82k miles and is extremely clean and well taken care of. Has everything I wanted but one thing, heated seats!;( lol. But a retrofit will be had before next winter.

Other than that, got a few mods up my sleeve so I'll keep everyone updated as progress goes on!

Let me know when you are ready to do mods. I have done many and can give you my thoughts of what improved my satisfaction the most.

Hey so yea no 4.4 i needed something reliable, decent gas mileage and can still tow my track car. As fun as a v8 would be, im thinking practicality wise haha.

And yes sir im located 5 min away from etown raceway, over in Old Bridge. Im always drifting with club loose as well as attending other events there.

Congrats, your not new to BMW so you know you've gotta stay on top of the X5 maintenance wise, or you may end up towing your X5 around with your E46 drift car...lol!!

lmfao you know it. Luckly I know my way around the m54 and in fact the one in my 3series is coming out soon;) so ill have an extra for spare parts and what not if need be.

But then again these motors seem too hold up very well with proper maintenance which is awsome.
