I will miss it, and yes ill cry.
This was my very first car. I loved it it became a really good friend. Of course there were times when things didnt go so well, Alternator, Transfailsafe mode, Air Suspension bag problem, broken taillights, Powesteering, Numerous window regulators, door handle carrier, Oil leaks, A few flats and curb rash (Thanks to Non Родные Style 87s which i think were cursed), Steering coupling, and a few other things.
But it has tought me so much about cars and confirmed that BMW is one of my favorite brands ever. One of the biggest things it did was help me get a Job at the Best European Repair shop in the city which to this day i still work there at any moment i have free time. Had lots of great moments in it, too many to list them all. I WILL cry when its gonna go (not afraid to admit it), i wanted to keep it for a long time maybe give it to my kids but im no Олигарх so i need money for the next thing. Which is going to be something along these lines i really do hope: http://photos.ecarlist.com/mA/em/s5/.../QA/BA_640.jpg Or if i find a cheap enough E60 M5 in the area. http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/d5153ff3.jpg http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...pse0c5cd87.jpg http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...0BC38B4FCA.jpg http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...0BBEE55C54.jpg http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...08934FA21F.jpg With some of the good friends filling up before a mountain drive: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...379DAA40FC.jpg Giving it a service: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2bd21730.jpg Trying on wheels: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/03a219eb.jpg At work: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/cdbc9f41.jpg After a regular occurance weekend detail: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/9b1afa3f.jpg With my regretfully sold e21 fun car: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/6f81bf1d.jpg The most embarasing moment: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/IMG00145.jpg Lowrider position on trip to the Zentrum euro auto fest 2011: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...5/DSC02038.jpg Drive through backwards because friend wanted food and i did not: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._3061893_n.jpg One of my favorite pics ever: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._2029826_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._5914272_n.jpg Parking at school: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._6670499_n.jpg This was a surprising moment, Sandy road: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._1798210_n.jpg Another drive, Helmet for saftey! ;P: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...78540258_n.jpg Drove around without a hood due to it being painted for a few weeks: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...74082996_n.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...88938396_n.jpg PROM: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...36867379_n.jpg No non European cars allowed! http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...35716912_n.jpg Bumer 2: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...33072255_n.jpg Another embarrasing moment: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...08119032_n.jpg The beach trip, the way back Transfailsafe: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto..._2903668_n.jpg The first day with the car, when uncle came to visit, we picked it up: It was either this or a manual same color green 330i E46. I feel and know your pain all too well. Good luck with your next ride!

nice scrapbook Artyom... i am sure we will see you in another bimmer rather sooner, than later: once you drive a BMW, you will not want to drive anything else... and you were corrupted early on in your life!!!
|
Nice set of pics!
Ask Scott & Liz to give you a raise, so you can cop an M car... ;) Maybe I will see you at GMW when I get back to the Mtn in spring. GL, mD |
GL with your next choice.
That E39 M5 interior looks great. |
your uncle is so Euro!
good luck with your next ride man! |
i know the feeling when you have to part with your bimmer... but as someone said on here, once you drive one, you will always want to get a another one... and when you do, its an awesome feeling driving around in a bimmer again... especially if it's an M5. good luck with your search
Great collection of pictures, i like the one with a Бумер cd - classic! |
I bet you drove more than one mile around with Серёга (the name of the singer) blasting Чёрный Бумер, Чёрный Бумер (Black Bimmer, Black Bimmer)!!!
I know - I am twice your age and I've done that for sure... The feeling was surreal, especially doing that in Moscow, on Тверская (name of one of main streets in Moscow) - girls were all yours!!!! hahahaha |
