Maybe this will Work:

Ignition on - do not start engine
Keep the speeder-pedal Down (all way Down) for 30 seconds
Start engine and go for a short drive in your normal driving patern

Unfortunately, this is a myth started and perpetuated by owners that didn't have a grasp of how the AGS driver & environmental adaptations of ATC (adaptive transmission control) works.

Doing what is written in the quote above, only temporarily initiates ATC's "driver's influenced" sport mode. And if the driver is not an aggressive driver (is an average or timid driver), within a minute or so, ATC will adapt to how the driver is actually mashing the gas pedal and making demands on the throttle and select either the extreme economy or the normal "economy" mode that the driver's influence dictates...thus the 30 second ritual at start up is rendered totally useless...and is forgotten as soon as the engine is turned off because AGS driver influenced adaptations are never stored in the TCM (tranny control module).

ATC will select one of 3 adaptive programs once the car is started and driving takes place. Again, the shifting program will either be:
  1. extreme economy
  2. economy
  3. sport
...and this is selected by the rate & speed the accelerator pedal is being pressed. And once the engine is turned off...driver influence starts anew upon the next start up. Driver influenced adaptations ARE NOT STORED in the TCM (transmission control module). This is how the car adapts to EVERY driver upon each time the vehicle is started. You don't have to wait for the car to "relearn" a shifting pattern if your grandma was driving the vehicle before you.

As stated in previous posts above...to reset the transmission's long term adaptation values...requires the use of dedicated hardware/software that can communicate with the EGS control module:

Qsilver7, you explained it perfectly, no further doubt left. lol

Where is the tranny module located? To update the software in SSS, progman asks for the module's 7 digit part number.

I think you're looking for the AGS module which is in the large E-box in the engine bay along with the DME:

Qsilver7 please help...

So You explained how it works, now how do I fix it??? (step by step please)

Thanks Eisert

P.S. Mine shifts fine until it gets warmed up. (10~15 Minutes)

This doesn't sound like a software reset issue. You may need deeper diagnostics to see if you have something occurring in the bowels of your transmission. I would recommend hooking up to diagnostic equipment that can read for any AGS/EGS fault codes...or reveal if you have any clutch faliures or worn/damaged solonoids...or perhaps a clogged filter.

I've hooked it up to a Launch CRP 129 P code reader and nothing. I'm just really stumped, It shifts perfect until it warms up---then sport mode. I'm not sure what to do now...
