10 beeps every time I start.
Hi Guys, I have put up with it for over a year now, but enough's enough. Every time I start the X5 it beeps ten times without fail. Its a higher pitch beep than the parking sensors, they all seem to be working fine. Sometimes the tenth beep is continuous until I turn off/ on, roughly once a month.
No engine lights on. Only error message is tpm inactive (had new tyres and didn't have new tpm's put in) I thought I would be able to turn tmp off, seems you are not able to do this. Have tried putting my seatbelt on first. Any thoughts? Thanks |
It's the anti-matter containment field interacting with the plasma flow compression control matrix....
I'm sure you could disable the tpms via coding, but its going to require some gear and know how. When you get the continuous beep is the light on the pdc button flashing? Is there anyway you could post a soundclip or video of it? |
Hi, no the tmp lights dont flash, its a higher pitch beep and seems to come from a different speaker than the parking sensors. I will some how post a sound clip.
thanks for your help. |
in my other E53 i had a power inverter installed by previous owner (12 VDC to 110 VAC) and it had its own POST (power-on self-test), that included a high pitch sound that lasted for 7 to 15 seconds... drove me nuts until I found the sucker under the passenger seat!!!
are you sure it is not the anti-matter containment field that is interacting with the plasma flow compression control matrix??? It sounds awful similar to the one!!!:nanana::nanana: |
Hi, there is certainly no interaction between the anti-matter containment field and the plasma flow compression control matrix as I have put a phazer induction polymer zonidrome between them.....................

Prior to the amp in my e39 dying...it would make approx 9-10 high pitched beeps. It sounded similar to the "clean tape" warning that BMW used on many of their in-dash cassette tape/radio units during the late 70s to mid 90s. . Again, it was an electronic high pitched "beep, beep, beep, beep" and it would occur upon just about every start-up or when the audio system was turned on and it was always the same number of beeps.
Then one day, the music died (the amp). :( |
drove the bimmer to the levee but the levee was dry... the day that the music died... bye bye miss ameri...
