Lowering my X..
 

I really want to lower my X. I have a 2005 4.4i sport (rear airbags I believe). I don't need it "slammed" just a decent good looking drop.
Wanted to get a couple opinions. ** I HAVE READ AND SEARCHED ON THE FORUMS** My friend Mike says that I should go with B&G Sport Springs/Bilstein HD Sport Shocks, and get the rear bags lowered at a place he knows with GT1 software. If so, any links to exactly what I'd need for the front would be GREAT!

as far as I am aware if you have the auto levelling rear suspension, if you lower the front, the back should come down as well?

it won't come down if he has front springs.

So what is the function of the auto levelling suspension if you have to code it to lower with lowering springs. I am looking to put lowering springs in my car and no one where I live knows how to code except dealer here.

This post states the rear comes down if the front is lowered with springs. I can't find any info on having to code the rear bags.

I feel like this links "fool" the air bags in the bag to think they are at the ride height they were coded to so that you wont have to code them lower.

At work on the autologic i played around and could lower by back end.

I'm planning a suspension overhaul. When I'm at it. I'd use B&G Sport Springs/Bilstein HD Sport Shocks since I don't have rear airbags suspension.

Look for lowering link on eBay.
Many members been using those with lowering springs up front.

Ok cool, so lowering springs on front stock shocks and rear end links will do the job?

I've been told it puts lots of stress on suspension components, is this true?
