Do you have the part and cost of the fan that you replaced ?

not a big deal. All components are reachable from the top.
I did recommend to change that if you have close to 100k miles for sure.

You guys should add your mileage for prospective. It would help other get an idea about when they should expect to attempt these things.

I have 125,000 miles on mine (2005 X5 3.0) and have owned it for 3 years
