So they drain oil and install drain cap.
I am watching them install the oil, ready to start...........start away and the kid is revving the engine hard and holds it ..............I I am like OMG...................
I went to talk to the manager about it........the kid stop ..................so do any one thing this is good for the engine ?:yikes:

Been going there long? If so, maybe that is why you had to rebuild the engine.

Yeah, that isn't necessary. The kid was just being a jagoff. I wouldn't take it there anymore.

I wonder where the kid learned that. Probably from the management of the store. Otherwise I would think the manager would tell him to knock it off. Another reason to let as few people as possible touch your car.

What that bunderhead did is not good for the engine. Revving the engine just after an oil change is similar to revving your engine when you start it up in the morning--the oil has drained down and needs a some time to lubricate properly. That said, you probably don't have any engine damage as even a goofball like the culprit revving the engine very long would have brought the manager out on his own. I would have asked the manager if he expected me to pay for abusing my engine. If he said yes I would pay up, tell him he has lost me as a customer and he won't like reading my yelp review.
