Slightly ruff at 1500rpm
 

Anyone experienced a slight roughness in the engine note at around 1500 rpm . It smoothes out bothe above and below this. 3.0d 2004 model.

Its not normal!Does it also do it in Neutral or only in gear?Are you sure its engine noise and not vibration of something loose in engine bay ?

I have the same.. I have had issues for 1.5 years+ except mine is getting a lot worse now, rougher both idling, driving in Neutral and gear and certainly worse at operating temperature.

Replaced every sensor (air charge temp, water temp, MAP and MAF). Cleaned EGR, inlet manifold, etc, etc and still a problem..

No one seems to know what the problem is or can diagnose it. Injectors, Fuel Pumps, Rail pressure all tested perfect. :banghead:
