Nice looking group of cars. I thought you have 20" style132 for your 4.8iS?

I do! (Nice eye and great memory). I took them off to run through the last of the treads on the stock tires. Our 1,500 mile run last week was about all the rears could handle. A friend turned up some Michelins with a bit more than half the life left for the rears today. He'll mount them on these wheels. A 2,000 mile trip coming up will make short work of them, I am sure but $200 for both rears isn't bad.

An interesting note from my first long trip since the ride home with the stock wheels: My mileage with the stock wheels (WAY lighter) was MUCH better- 15-20% better!

Of course, the last trip long trip was a mad dash that usually takes 7 hours. I made it in just over 4. :yikes:

My new-to-me 4.8iS is pretty close to yours in term of mileage (if you switch the 0 and 1 around :bustingup ) You don't drive your cars much at all, considering your E39 has 57k miles only.

You have both an E53 and E39?!? let me guess...youre looking for an E30 too?

I have two 2002's. No need for an E30! ;)

Well.. that was almost 2 years ago. I just cleared 36K on our last road trip. We'll be catching up with the E39 in no time!

I think I win the award for drives the X the least amount on this forum lol, since I've been maintaining and fixing things on and off for the past 1.5 years, and my wife's car does all the grunt work/dog hauling.

Bought at 59k December 2011, sits at 68,414 as of yesterday...

Prop she is looking good! So if I'm getting this right you still have your stock 168's but decided since the tires were shot you'd mount them on so you didn't shred up your good tires on the 20" 132's?
