Not at all! I love my 4.6is. Luckily the previous owner ran into all of the problems and took care of them for me.

This was just to "vent" and hopefully relate to other owners.

All in good fun. We own these cars/trucks because we love them.

Glad to hear that. I've been working at Plant Spartanburg for 11 years now, and it hurts to hear about some of the bad experiences people have had. Mine has not exactly been free of problems, and the boss would just as soon scrap it as watch me drive it, but I really do love mine. :thumbup:

OMG... Sometimes the truth can really hurt!

Good thing they fixed everything in the 48is model ;)

Can I be your best friend?

1- Someone expected practical? Buy a green Prius--2013s are on closeout.
2- No cooling system problems--I always flush even at McDonalds.
3- You can't change the fluid because you will shoot your eye out. Fluid not original
4- Didn't expect performance X to wear tires? A bear doesn't crap in the woods?
5- Not original fluid--but I do drink coffee heated since last week.
6- What's that rattle under the hood---turn up the radio-original chain and guides.
7- Never had a parts problem other than--it's small, has a little hook at the end, plastic--
8- My splines still work great--My spine, I can almost kiss my own a*s.
9- Tilt mirror still tilting-and I broke the mirror that I use so I can spray my bald spot
10-Never been locked out other than when my wife changed the locks on the house.
11-Headlights--to the policeman-- be sure to check my original lights while you're at it.
12-Cold? won't run right? That would be shrinkage--Move to Texas. Original CCV.
13-No smoke--except the annual wildfire coming this way.

As for those sheep--I am a farmer, I know how to wake them up.

And I have been beating my X to death, now have 23,265 run up.
