need advice on buying and looking for an 4.8is
 

Hello,

I have been looking for an 4.8is for a few months now. My gut tell me i should buy either a 2005 or 2006 low miles one under 70k . I have not seen much in my area. I see a few with 85k on it and i see a 2004. I would not drive it much less than 5k a year. I dont want to buy one that will give me a lt of head acks.

So the question is should i wait orcompromise. Thanks

Widen your search area. Go for 2005-2006 with maintenance history. If you can find one with CPO, it's better.
Will it be your first bimmer?

I have no idea where "bar area" is, but this is a good one here for $23K with 69k miles.

Got one this weekend . But not is got a is. 2005 black 4.4 loaded. But here is the thing 25k miles on it. Local car. Happy now!

But will need help with touch up and mod later.

I would have held out for a 4.8is!

I might sell my Imola red '06 4.8is...pretty dang clean with BMW hitch & '87 wheels on it & fresh Dunlops...103k.

Wife wants a red Porsche GTS now. :/
