I bought the nylon gear when i flipped mine. Still havent used it. All you need is a new gear when this one strips. And if you did it exact 180, you have at least as much time on it as i have been driving. And I've been through snow, ice, dirt and gravel.

OK then, I should go for the nylon gear. A couple of questions, while I have your attention:

I understand that DSC is adjusting power and braking at the four wheels, to stabilize the vehicle. Obviously the DSC button at the central console switches off the DSC, but if DSC is off, is the car still in 4X4? Or are the rear wheels only being powered?
