Doesn't open with inside or outside handle? You might have to visit the dealer.

What do you mean by : "I driver side front is dead lock and open."

Does the lock "pin" by the window still move up and down when you lock or unlock the vehicle?

A little trick that worked when my rear door lock actuator was on its way out (you would not be able to open the door from inside, or out) is as follows:

Standing on the outside of the vehicle, with the key press unlock.
Pull drivers door handle, and while holding it, press lock.
Release door handle and push unlock.
Open door.

** you may have to try a couple repatitions/variations of the above**

Depending on the state of your gear, the above may or may not work. It worked for me Everytime until I got around to replacing the actuator.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot I am going to try this one...do u think its the carrier or the actuator that's going bad.:dunno:

If it's a locking issue, it should be the actuator....anything is really possible though. If it were the carrier, you'd have consistent issues opening it from the outside and would most likely be able to tell just by pulling on it that something is off, in comparison to the other exterior handles.

Does it open/lock when trying a manual key opening? I use the key to lock the driver's door if I leave it unattended in a parking lot...

I pretty much have the same issue, all doors lock and open with the key button but the driver's door. The central lock does not do it either and all this after the panel was removed to address a window issue. Everything works, including windows and mirrors... so not sure what the problem is but will find out soon. It's not the fuse, checked all of them.
