Steering wheel shakes a little

So I recently just got tires and put new brakes on and reduced the shaking a lot. Now when i'm driving around 50 mph the steering wheel shakes but not to bad. You can definitely notice it. There is also a little knocking you can feel in the car. It feels like there is a nail in the tire but there isn't. Could this come from the control arm bushing? I looked at and it needs to be replaced.

Thanks

Do your wheels have/require hub rings?

Bad control arm bushing can cause the steering wheel to shake, usually at 50 or more. Sometimes the steering wheel will shake when braking. And, it is not unusual to hear a clunk when turning left or right at slow speeds. If you can see the bushing is bad that could certainly be the cause.

You could get the tires road force balanced is they haven't been already that might help some though if the control arm bushing is bad the problem is only going it get worse. FYI--it is likely the other side is in the same condition as well as other suspension components if all have the same miles on them.

Thanks, I will order the bushings. Hopefully that will solve everything. And yes, I do have the hub rings.
