2002 4.6is clicking
 

Hi, I have an 02 4.6is with 124k miles and I just noticed that when I accelerate from a stop mostly I can hear a clicking or snapping noise coming from under the car when my windows are rolled down, what could it be?

Need more detail, frequency, under what conditions, etc.

It is a medium frequency like a rhythmic snapping noise and I can only hear it when I'm on the accelerator with the windows down with light to moderate acceleration (haven't floored it to see)

If it's a metallic sounding noise (not a constant noise) when you get on and off the gas or shift into reverse or drive, it's your transfer case chain.

Yeah, sounds like TC or drive-line related.
