'05 X5 Need new DSP amp - which can I use?
 

I have a 2005 X5 with DSP and Nav. I think the amplifier got water damaged. I want to swap it out. My current amp is the Lear 65124127873. Can I use the 65.12-6 905 119 OR 65.12-6 940 977 amps? These earlier amps are alot cheaper (half the price and more).

Are there any other Amps I can use (model #)?

Also If I can and it was coded for another BMW other than X5 (E53) how do I get it coded and what is the usual cost for that?
