And then the maintenance...
So.... I just got my X back from the my mechanic, and here's the list!
1 starter 1 battery 1 fan clutch 1 water pump 1 oil cooler bracket gasket valve cover gaskets 1 upper timing change cover gasket 1 lower timing chain cover gasket 1 engine mount 1 thermostat timing chain tensioner So I should be good for awhile right?! :D I hope so... Hopin to start on my mods soon... I want to detail it today, and I'll post some pics up later.... |

Timing chain guides were just replaced, my mechanic checked that out when he was in there. The motor mount still seemed pretty solid, but I guess i probably should of changed it. I'm sure I'll get plenty of chances have my X worked on yet! :D

How did you manage to do the guides without the timing chain gaskets? The tensioner should have been done, too.
With the starter, not sure how to know that it's "going bad" unless it stops starting! I do think the cooling system overhaul is smart $. |

^They might just re-fill the coolant after the work. It must be on the paperwork to get paid for. Otherwise, I would assume the re-fill.
