Good job at not allowing the brake shop to take you for a ride.

If pads were bad you should have had the sensor throw a service brake light on the cluster.

Had a shop tell me that I had to replace ALL the rotors and pads.

I asked "why can't I just replace the rotors on the axle that are the problem"

"Oh no, you don't want to do that. You want to replace all of them. It's cheaper once we are already in there". WTH? I understand that logic if you have to tear the engine apart, but it's not like you can access all the rotors by taking one wheel off! lol

The other guy told me I had "cheap aftermarket brakes and I really should replace them".

Really? Brembo breaks are "cheap" and OEM is "better"? Okay buddy...whatever. Keep scamming soccer moms...I going somewhere else.

They confirmed that my rotors may have a SLIGHT warp issue, but certainly good to go for now. They replaced the control arms and the issue went away.

Glad to hear you got it fixed! How did they diagnose/troubleshoot it down to the control arms?
