Cleaning intake plenum

Hi all

I'm about to clean the Intake Plenum on my 02 E53 V8. Where or which is the best vacum hose that will give me the best access to the Intake Plenum?

I will run a tiny plastic tub through one of the vacum hose and guide it into the Intake Plenum to spray Intake Cleaner Chemical while the engine will be running at around 2000rpm.

Thanks

It's been around for a while ...

The brand is Wuerth, a German company. I used to use it in my turbo cars to clean up the intake valves, it made a huge different.

I once connect up an Oil Air separator in a 500hp car, ran one of the vacum line wrong and cause a massive Blown By, oil was all over the intake. I used 2 cans of the Wuerth intake cleaner and it clean it up nicely.

I looked it up, as I hadn't seen this particular one before.

2/3 paint thinner, 1/3 nail polish remover, by weight, according to the data sheet.

Yeah, that will strip all sorts of things.

Are you going to follow with an oil change to flush it out?

No need

It burns hence why i mentioned engine RPM has to be on 2000rpm while doing it so you will need 2 people to do this.
