Bridgestone AT Revo 2

Picked up an '05 4.4. Great car. Needs new treads before winter. Have had great luck with Dueler Alenza's on wife's Denali but thinking of getting more aggressive treads on the x5. It will be the ski vehicle so want good traction. What do you think of the Dueler Revo 2's?

Went ahead and got them.

Well, thanks for all the input guys (sarc). They are smooth and quiet. Went with standard size (255/55r18). They are p rated (vs lt) and are speed rated to 130mph. They are designated all terrain tires but are supposed to be one of the quietest a/t's out there. I got these because I wanted maximum snow traction without going with dedicated snows (and extra rims). I have been impressed with the bridgestone Alenza's (put 70,000 miles on first set) on wife's Denali but wanted more traction for the x5 (ski vehicle). I don't plan to 4x4 but take forest roads to trailheads in summer. I think these tires will do all that I want them to and more.

Thought you guys would give me some feedback before I bought them. Anyway, I read plenty of good reviews from folks with cayenne's, mdx's and touareg's.

New to the x5 world but we have a couple of older 3 series (99 238i convertible and 02 325xi).

Continental DWS's are great tires

Usually a good practice to ask for input a day or two before you intend to make the buy.

Sounds like you got the input you needed--that's good. Welcome!

My 2001 3.0 had Dueler Alenza (235/65/17) and I recently went with the Mich MXV4 (OE tires) and my X has much better traction and control. The Bridgys were very quiet as a plus but the Michs give the X a much more improved sport ride. And the threads look very good for winter driving.

LOVED the Dueler AT REVO 2's I put on my wife's old Jeep Liberty! They were quiet, rode, handled and wore great and the traction in all elements was superb, I highly doubt you will be dissapointed.
