My Aux vent option disappeared!??

On my nav screen there was an option for Aux ventelation in the Menu along with code/telephone/navigation.

I decided to turn it on since my car is parked in the sun this week and :wow: I couldnt find the Option!!:dunno:

Where could it have gone? Or Am i just stupid and forgetting its in some other sub menu? i think ive looked everywhere..

Are you for sure that you have the ignition in POSITION 1?

I think the TIMED/PARKED VENTING features (Aux Ventilation) may be like setting the CODE feature...it only appears in position 1?

Artem, check the fuses in the glove compartment for the aux heater/ventilation... you might have a blown fuse

UPDATE!!!:

This weekend went back to asheville worked as usuall made a bracket for a porsche 964 cabrio top. Cleaned out grass out of places i never thougfht grass could make it to in a porsche that flew off into the grass on the highway.

Friend said he used the autologic to enable the TV feature in his sisters older 7 series and it worked. so we tred with the autologic and as i thought i need a TV module then it should work right?

Also saw my Instrtument cluster IKA(or something) was english so changed it to german real quick, and it reset the cluster and the nav screedn, and after the nav screen fired up again

The Aux vent option came back! Weired....

I did not know this existed. I found it in my MID & the manual seems to indicate it can be set to run at a set time but I don't see a way to set that time. I'd like to set it to run at 4:20pm 10 minutes before I leave work when it is over 90 if possible.

Do you have the Nav? or is it just a regular radio?

No nav. DSP radio with MID there is a venting feature like this there.

I always forget if the low MID has this feature...so if you do and the instructions below don't work...its probably because you need the HIGH MID.

The VENT & timed PARKED VENTING features are access by pressing the clock face button. The immediate VENT feature requires that the ignition be in POSITION 1 (only)...but the timed parked venting doesn't matter as long as the ignition is on...you can set-up a timed event:

  1. press the clock-face button on the right side of the MID until you see 1TIMER2 appear in the MID's display
  2. press either side of the 1TIMER2 button to begin setting a timed event
  3. input the time you want the vent timer to start
  4. press the SET button
Once you program a timed event...it remains "pre-set" in the display BUT you must initiate the timer by going through the first 2 steps above whenever you want the timed venting to occur. Many owners complain about this...but if the timed event went off automatically everyday without having to initiate it...it would occur on weekends or days not needed...and also when another driver might be using the car...which could possibly run the battery flat if the car sits for a few days...especially if you run the blower for the maximum time of 30 minutes.

Thanks. I set it but am unclear on how to initiate it when I park this morning.
