M wheel 20 inches
Hey guys, quick question,
I'm shopping for mags and i found those M OEM 20" style 333 for $4.2k with tires.... Pure beauty.... Just woundering if this will fit on the E53 4.4i ....they came from x5 2013 and there is a mention about : for E70 or 2007+ ? Sorry hyperlink is in french...but basicly they have 700 miles on it.... Pneu Bridgestone sur roue 333M de BMW - Laval / Rive-Nord Pneus, jantes à vendre - Kijiji Laval / Rive-Nord What do you think ? Thanks |
That's a lot of icon to me that is lol they look nice but I don't like them on that white x

You will need hub-rings to fit them on your E53. The E70 has 74.1mm hub-bored.
They don't look good on an E53, IMO |
Thanks for the feedback guys,....
I was thinking also the from 19 to 20 is not huge difference for that money especially that my tires are new (but yes 20 are amazing..).... Just want to upgrade my 132 to something more modern :).....i love the concave designs but spoke are a bit old style... Any suggestions for a white X are welcome |
I actually think they would look good on a white, facelifted E53. Would be different for sure, for example X5SND runs the X6M wheels (I forget the style name but they are staggered 20s) on his facelifted E53 and it looks proper.
Are the offsets more aggressive in the wheel (more concave) or are they the same front and rear? And like tmv said, any E70 wheels fit E53 you just need hub rings to go from E70 center bore to 72.56 center bore of the E53, easily found. |
Style333: 20x10 +40, 20x11 +35
Style87: 20x9.5 +45, 20x10.5 +30 There's not much of a difference there. They would fit just fine with hub-rings. X5SND is running style300 on his, same spec as style333 |
Below is an updated list of BMW wheel specs. The 3 major specs to watch out/look out for if considering a wheel style from another BMW model are:
A wheel with a larger center bore than your BMW's wheel hub can be fitted with "hub centric rings" to make up the difference. A wheel with a smaller center bore than your BMW's wheel hub will require either wheel adapter/wheel spacers that will accommodate the difference. With BMW introducing AWD on every model line up...and with the odd split hub size difference on some models (X5M/X6)...the offset range and center bore for some of the rear staggered set-ups (or front wheel specs) may be "doable" on other models unlike in the past where the 5/6/7/8/Z8 models could basically share wheels...and the 3/X/Z3/Z4 models shared wheel specs. http://bimmerboard.com/members/q/ori...3%20Update.jpg |
