Bye to the X
 

So I finally got around to selling my 2005 4.4 after contemplating for about a year now. Posted on Craigslist a week ago and got a buyer immediately. Was hoping I wouldn't have a response that soon but not surprised since I took great care of the darn thing. It was mostly stock with exception to the HD Bilsteins struts, shocks and H&R springs. It was very well maintained and ran really well . . . especially after the alternator was replaced - got rid of the pesky trivecta lights that would come on at the worst moments.

I have been a memeber of this forum for a short period of time and can attest that the guys here seem to be a great group of dudes that love (sometimes hate) thier X's. I can also say I have taken much more from this forum than I have given - mostly because 99% of the problems/questions posted have already been previously answered.

Good luck guys and you'll probably see me hanging out in the X5M forum soon . . . my search begins.

Congrats on having it sold, and an upgrade to X5M is a justified reason.

I would venture to say the sale came with a small measure of relief that only prior E53 owners will understand. ;)
