Help DSC light on
 

The DSC light is on in my wifes 2001 4.4 X5. I noticed the light after pressure washing the engine compartment, wheel wells, underside, and then driving it through a car wash. It has been on for about a week. Although the truck is running fine, I would like to try fixing it. Any idea what it could be? There are no other lights on.

Get the car scan and tell us what the DTCs are.

Could be a wheel speed sensor not reading (although I would expect also to see an ABS fault light). You'll need to read the fault code as upallnight points out...

I have a Peak tool and nothing is registering.. Hopefully it is a simple fix as I just replaced the radiator, hoses, expansion tank, etc.

Have you tried quickly to reset the steering angle sensor?
Turn wheel lock to lock once.
