Dead X5
Driving home from work and my 91 starts to sputter. Wont restart. Towed it home and pulled 3 codes. PO171, PO174, and PO313. Not sure what the 313 is. Says low fuel.
Can anyone help me out? Is it the fuel pump? Low fuel pressure? I think I can hear the pump kick on but not sure. Is this pump in tank or on frame rail? Possibly dirty filter? I know the others are lean bank. Lots of questions I know. I will get a manual tomorrow but hoping someone can ease my mind tonight. |
Exact same 3 codes here. You might learn a thing or two from it.
Mixture too lean, P0171, P0174, P0313 |

OK thanks guys. They never said what the 313 was from? I guess part of the intake boot problem.
Does anyone know off hand what the fuel rail pressure should be? |
Here's some info that gives some possible causes...found by googling "bmw obd ii code po313":
