If you like Imola and have 10k....

Imola over Imola over Imola (Imola overload lol!)

BMW x5 V8 4 6IS | eBay

Pricing isn't bad but definitely needs some work, Style 63's instead of 87's which sucks, the headliner is sagging a bit, exhaust tips are crooked, headlights look to be fogging up or in horrendous shape, and the interior needs some serious leather cleaning/conditioning.

Even has Imola trim on the steering wheel! Must be one of the first 4.6's as well, 11/01 build date, I guess that's the reason for the color combo (new model = flashy options)

I loved Brilliantrot on my 325ics, not so much on an suv.

Nice armoralled motor plastics.

I'll pass. Doesn't look like a well-maintained SAV.
I sense someone on eBay looking for stuff now :stickpoke

I like the red leather, but the red trim on the dash, console & doors is too much. Looks like the previous owner went nuts with a can of Rustoleum. Bleah. Would look much better if those pieces were gloss black like in mine. Even woodgrain would be an improvement.

A little too much Red for me. Also, looks like it's had issues or has issues.

Front bumper is a little crooked on passenger side. Headlights need restoring. WAY TOO MUCH amorall on that engine - WOW! :yikes:

Also, seems to be having ABS / BRAKES issues. Might be wheel sensors or worse like the ABS module:

The HVAC unit is missing buttons, and it also needs a replacement Navigation screen. There is a burn spot on it:

Not a bad price for a 4.6iS at that mileage though.

Wait Dave, did you just say you have Piano Black trim??

Would your wife prefer the look of Light Poplar wood grain, I'd love to trade (but I'm guessing you like the Black better anyways!)

And yes I hear you on the seats/trims/color, I love Imola, but I feel the trim is too much overload, should be Titan Silver/Piano Black, especially since the seats are Imola.

If the seats were Black, I could see the Imola trim being ok though....

And yes it doesn't look the most well maintained but 4.6's are rare enough as is, maybe someone is looking to get one cheap and do some "restoration" work :)

davintosh 10-23-2013 02:11 PM

Yup; I guess "piano black" is the name for it. And no thanks on the trade; my wife probably wouldn't care either way, but I would! :D

I knew it! Haha, I will probably piece my own Titan Silver trims together someday, good for you guys though, the Piano Black is rare!

I was just reading through this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...rior-trim.html

Sounds like an alternative for you, with a little sweat equity. ;)

LOL !! Looks like the hazard lights got a real work out from the looks of that button !!http://i.ebayimg.com/00/z/MeEAAOxySy...hw%7E%7E_4.JPG
