I'm sure the new designs will grow on me but I think the current E46 M3 looks 10 times better then the proposed M3.

Pretty cool stuff, but that X5 coupe looks like a bad PhotoChop job to me :bustingup .

I saw that X5 coupe photochop a while ago and ignored. Somebody photochopped 2 more doors on a M6.

Glad BMW is finally expanding its M models to 5 Touring and 3 4-dr. There're more to come.

Cool stuff, but... I am starting to think that maybe they'll start offering TOO many models! :dunno: They may dilute the brand...

Not when compared to MB which takes the cake for having WAY too many models in its lineup. I agree BMW may dilute the brand with the 1er and its upcoming "minivan" but they make sense economically.

Well, that's my point exactly! Mercedes is struggling right now. (I'm not talking DaimlerChrysler, which is financially doing "OK" due to the success of Dodge and their truck divisions.) They have some serious quality issues, and they just announced the biggest recall in their history. They are not even in the top ten in quality, beaten by the likes of Hunday and <gasp> Chevrolet. They also just announced that they would delay the launch of the B Class due to the weak dollar (or strong Euro, really) which makes the car too expensive. The A-Class, which was never brought here, had roll-over issues. The Mercedes name has taken a beating in the last three years or so. I just hope the motorwerks avoids that.

I like the new M3.. I think it's good that they're offering a 4-door. That M5 wagon is cool... Imagine racing someone at a stoplight. They'd be more than a little surprised to find out the power in that wagon. As for that X5 coupe, let us just hope it looks absolutely nothing like that photochop... If that was a production car, it would be one of the worst ever! SO UGLY! It looks like an expanded 6 series, and the 6 series already looks fat.
