headlight problem
 

What's up fellas, I'm having a problem here with my headlight keeps going in and out on me. It started maybe a wk ago when I was driving on the hwy and dash popped up check lowbeam headlamp then it went away and the light came back on. now its just keeps doing the same all the time. I dont think its the bulbs, who have an idea what to change.:dunno:

check the wiring harness and contacts. i was getting the same issues with my brake lights ... bulbs were good, contacts good, it ended up being the wiring harness not being snug enough in the clip.

I did also check all the wiring but saw no fault in them

Sounds like a bulb on its way out.

yeap - exactly what X5SND said... the bulb is cutting in and out... the ballast will try to reignite the xenon but only so many times... you got the xenons, right??

Bulb is probably going, how many miles on your X and do you use your headlights a lot? Xenon bulb life is about 2000 hours or so.
