what can i do with an old alternator?
 

i replaced my alt in august and still have the old one sitting here. i could have or still can return it for a core but i figured it might cost me too much money to mail it for a 50 dollar core refund.

I know a starter/alternator shop in queens that might buy it from you

I took mine apart.. played around, put it back together, put in back in the box and its still somewhere. pretty useless.

Same story with my other parts such as powersteering pump.

You could use it for a door stop.......:rofl:

you could rebuild it for something to do? :)

SHoulda gave it to some trick or treater on halloween

..or use it for some sorta workout equipment..as that thing is heavy

Theres a place here that rebuilds alternators for 50-70 bucks.. Look for an old mom n pop battery shop
