Driver side HID turned purple!!!
 

While driving today I noticed in the reflection from the car in front of me that the driver side HID is purple compared to the passenger side which is bright white. I parked and confirmed that was indeed the case. Switching off and then back on both HIDS appear white but slowly the driver side starts turning purple. Is it the HID bulb going bad? If so, where could I find an OEM replacement online?

Bulb replacement time. TheRetroFitSource, and get some genuine phillips 85122's.

Also the site seems to sell them in pairs. Should I be replacing both at the same time?

In either case, it's not a difficult process, and there are guides floating around this site to walk you through it.

HIDP has a free shipping code from them, no matter because they are genuine so you are good to go!

I just installed these in mine, I had the same issue as you. I replaced both sides to match the light output.

Now I am really mad at myself !!!!! :(
