maybe Just move to different sub-forum, sold my X5 4.4i that I've had for 12 years and just bought a lease return X6 5.0i.

Not sure, why the X6 forums kinda quite here, maybe not many DIYers there.

Will post pictures, before and after, will do full detailing next on my X6. Wifey, almost bite my head-off for pulling the trigger on smoker car, not to mentioned it's a little rough; but X6 5.0i is hard to come by here in Pac-Northwest so I had no choice;).

Will swing by from time to time.

Congrats. The E70/E71 are not as DIYer friendly as an E53.
Only an X5M can made me gave up my E53.

Wow congrats on the X6!! Heads up, dont listen to the people you may encounter who bash on the x6. I freaking love it

Not X6 bashing here, just had too many situations where items have required almost all the cargo space in the X5.

As long as the cars are under warranty or CPO you won't find many DIYers on the forum, and the people that buys new or CPO cars buys cars just so that they don't need to work on them.

I wasnt referring to anyone here but there was just a X6 hate thread on reddit the other day

No questions, X5 is the most versatile lux SUV out there, one times I needed to carry 4'x8' plywood from HD, tied the trunk lid and moved the front seats forward, no problems.

I am 5'8" and hit my head everytime entering my X6.

Sorry, I can't see myself in the new F15 X5, too wagon Lexus like to me. But I am sure, beauty is in the eye of beholder.

One more thing, I should've listened to my wife, she believed my X5 should be close to $11k. Sold it for $10k, KBB and Edmunds listed way less than that for private party. Dealer would give me $5K-$6K if I leased an X6 from them.

Live and learn, not everything KBB/Edmunds say apply to your car. The buyer bought my car practically on first day I put the ad, even after her mechanic told her both outer CV boots are torn and I have small leak on the timing cover.

PS: if someone is trying to sell and want to compare, and get ball park price on their X5, I just posted my X5 pictures on "show us your X5..."

Congrats on the new whip! Im sure as the X6's warranty expires more people will enter those forums. Ill look for some pics of it!
