Hello guys,

After months of reading the posts I finally joined the forums! The threads here proved to be a valuable source of information when I wanted to upgrade something. I want to thank you all for the help!

I'm a proud owner of a low mile(55200) 2006 BMW X5 3.0 Diesel, my first BMW and funny enough my first car. Since the car was used by one of the employees at my dads company, it was BONE STOCK. I have always been a fan of OEM+ cars, I feel that a BMW engineer gives more thought to a part than any tuner possibly can.

Still being a Highschool student it is kinda' hard for me to afford costly upgrades but one by one the car is starting to look like how I envisioned it. I started simple: Smoked Taillights, 99% tint on the back windows, K/N air filter, full LED Conversion(includind rear lights), HID conversion, pretty much any cheap upgrade that would raise the value of my car.

Cutting costs where possible, I managed to save up for a custom performance exhaust and boy does it sound great. My car has been featured in a few local TV shows as beeing " the best sounding diesel in Romania". Just to give some context here is a short clip of the car in action:

A 4.6is body kit is one the way from Latvia and the car will be repainted Imola Red as soon at it arives. I also upgraded the wheels to Style 300's last week so the final result will be pretty sweet!

Enough about the car! BMW owners share a common passion for cars that easily turns into friendship. Let me introduce myself, my name is Tamer and I'm a BMW fanatic ever since I was born. Our familly has had over 7 brand new BMW's in the past 10 years but it seems my parents finally settled down. As i said, I drive an E53 X5, my cousin a 2013 M5, my ex drives a 2013 320d and one of my best friends the first BMW 428i so yes, we are obsessed with this brand.

I forgot to mention! I ran a custom tune on the engine and gearbox last summer, the car was a total torque monster, around 730 nm and 275 PS but it was eating oil like hell so I had to return to stock.

It looks higher than normal X5. It might just be the picture though.
The picture of the rear wheel make the brake so tiny. Wheel looks like 22".
