would you rather retrofit....

a BMW sirius tuner (I already have a dice MB with sirius but the functionality and sound quality is starting to bother me)

or

a PDC set up (does anyone know if you can just install the rear sensors?)

I want to get one of the two as an xmas gift to myself.

discuss....

I dumped Sirius over a year ago. Spotify or Pandora are much better.

I am working on PDC, bought the switch panel today.

Parking distance control is freaking annoying. I turn mine off every time it beeps.

So for those of us also interested in PDC retrofit, whats all required as far as parts go, a brain box, to go in the rear, by the battery ? two sets of 4 sensors and their companion brackets for the bumpers, and a switch for the center console switch plate? could it be that simple!! (and the obligatory coding procedure of course!)

Anyone got any guesses on whats needed for the Tire pressure monitor?
5 sensors and a switch?? maybe a brain box, would that be too simple.

intersting that in the retrofit instructions for the PDC it specifically calls out 4/2004 as the breakpoint between modules. Since I have a 4/2004 build car....which module would I need?!?

Im curious why you don like the Sirius through the MB? I have the Silverline with the Sirius, I would assume it functions about the same and it seems to work fine. I too was looking to install the factory Sirius stuff, but for a third of the cost, I really don't think what I have can be beat.
