X5 (E53) 4.4 (Australia) Suitable head unit replacement
 

Can anyone give me some solid advice on what my options are for replacing my head unit. I've got the standard non-DSP unit, cassette player, 6-disc CD changer. I've already installed a BSW iPod integration unit so I've got iPod/iPhone connectivity, but I've still got this eyesore of a display that I'd like to replace (pixels all screwed up) as well as get bluetooth, digital display, touchscreen if possible, don't really need sat/nav. I've gone ahead and purchased one of those chinese units made specifically for this model, without doing the research first. When I took it to get it installed, besides the fact that it will cost me $125 an hour (up to 7hrs), there's no guarantee that all the features will work, if any. Can anyone help????
