Where the hell did this come from???

This came out on the drive way after I used water to flush the engine. Anyone can tell me where the heck did it come from?? :dunno: I checked the breather hose connected to the upper valve cover gasket, no problem. It just bothers me.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

How big is the tape measure? could you use a Standard Bannana for scale?

hahaha anyway It just looks like part of a breather hose end. Can you put info in your signature so we know what engine it has? I would double ckeck the pipes and hoses again.

Btw when you say engine flush you mean just wash it on outside? or did you pour the water inside the engine.....?

Oh goodness, I would hope just washing the engine bay and not filling the crankcase with dawn and water... Great degreaser though! lol

You two made my day, lol. You mean, my " banana" ? Haha.....

Just wash the outside. I would kill myself if I pour water into crankcase. lol

Could it be the "other" end of the breather hose, which is hidden behind the intake?

Appears to be a fancy German zip tie that holds a hose.

Problem is, I don't know which hose. LoL

could it be a hose clip from one of the ccv hoses?

its hard to tell what diam the clip is doesn`t look big enough for a rad hose though. I would check all your hoses if you can .

It could have been laying somewhere for who knows how long and the water just washed it out onto the driveway. I would look for something similar missing and in place.
